Project context and summary: The VALORMICRO project aims to study the marine microbiome of New Caledonia, with a particular focus on bacteria, in order to understand their diversity, seasonal variations, and responses to climate change and anthropogenic pressures.
The project seeks to use these microbial communities as early indicators of the overall health status of the region’s coastal waters.
