The goal of this project is to study, in the context of an educationnal project (TROPIMUNDO MASTER’s DEGREE, field school subject), the microbial communities associated with endemic Gymnostoma species from New-Caledonia, growing in two contrasted ultramafic ecosystems. To that end, microbial communities will be studied using 16S-metabarcoding via Illumina Sequencing – MiSeq i100, 5 millions reads.
