Project context and summary:

The CHIP platform is the Pasteur Institute’s biobank for human samples. As part of its biobanking activities, the platform offers sample preparation services to all researchers on campus. Preparation methods must be standardized and validated to ensure the distribution of high-quality samples.
The CHIP platform wishes to offer a service for extracting bacterial DNA from fecal microbiota. It is necessary to select an extraction kit by comparing two different models: ZymoBIOMICS (Zymo) and Quick-DNA Fecal (Zymo). We would like to perform this comparison using 16S sequencing from three DNA aliquots prepared for each of these kits (six aliquots in total).
