Project context and summary:

Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) is the second cause of death worldwide afiter COVID-19. Human macrophages are the primary cells targeted by Mtb upon infection. Mtb subverts the immune response through various mechanisms. We would like to study the effect of differents Mtb strains on the gene expression level.
Monocyte-derived macrophages from 5 healthy donors will be infected with 6 Mtb strains. 24h post-infection, RNA extraction will be performed.
