Project context and summary: We aim to study the adaptation of virulent phages in a heterogeneous population of CRISPR resistant bacteria. We will carry out an evolution experiment and we will sequence evolved phages through time to track the spread of escape mutations in the phage genome. Pacbio HiFi sequencing will allow us to follow the dynamics of multilocus phage genotypes.
