Project context and summary:

V. crassostreae is an oyster pathogen which blooms during summer. It was observed that V. crassosterae phages are more infectious toward their contemporary hosts than toward hosts from a different time point within the span of a summer. We aim to better characterize those co-evolutionary dynamics by sequencing a collection of V. crassostreae strains and phages isolated during the summer 2021 in Brest.
