Our team is engaged in the identification of mouse genes which control susceptibility to several infectious diseases. We use multiple mouse inbred strains wih large genetic diversity to find new models which are susceptible or resistant to infections and to unravel underlying mechanisms. Towards this aim, we need to have an extensive knowledge of the genome of some strains of interest, therefore to establish their genomic sequence.
