Previous whole genome sequencing (Project 1126) indicate that S. gallolyticus isolates are broad and diverse. We aim to get the complete circularized genomes of 3 isolates associated with colorectal cancer using PACBIO sequencing. Two other strains belonging to the subspecies pasteurianus which display some unusual characteristics also need to be fully sequenced in order to perform comparative genomics.
