Project context and summary: It has been observed that animals from different animal facilities within the Institut Pasteur differ in their take up and distribute throughout the organism peptidoglycan from the intestinal lumen. We would like to discover if this (in)ability pertains to their microbiota composition and, if so, in what aspects these differ.
