One of the principal missions of the Centre for the Production and Infection of Anopheles is to provide research teams studying malaria with anopheles mosquitoes. It is known that the microbiota can impact the fitness of mosquitoes and their susceptibility to infection with plasmodium parasites. Our goal is to follow the evolution of the microbiota on a monthly basis over a long period (year) and determine to what extent it impacts on the « quality » of the mosquitoes we provide to users.
