This project will comprehensively map the effects of single amino acid mutations across NS4 on DENV infection across mosquito and human hosts. Using deep mutational scanning (DMS), we will quantify the fitness effects of NS4 variants in mosquito and human cell lines to identify host-specific selective pressures.
