TychoBio is a biotech company building a computational and experimental pipeline to design splice-modulating ASOs. RNA-seq will be one analytical layer of this pipeline. It is used to define the splicing landscape of target genes across relevant cell lines to detect splicing events, and RNA modifications. The aim is to measure the functional effect of ASO candidates.
We will be using long-read sequencing on Oxford Nanopore Technologies as our primary RNA-seq platform. The goal of this project with Biomics is to benefit from the know how acquired by the platform personnel with nanopore long read sequencing to stress test the current state of the technology and optimize future outputs.
