Project context and summary: The aim of this project is to develop CRISPR-interference (CRISPRi)-based screens in Escherichia coli clinical isolates exposed to diverse environmental conditions. The screen will enable to dissect the role that individual or multiple genes play in the biological response of clinical strains.
